Having an astounding experience of 28 years in the automotive, forging, and heat treatment industry, he has always worked in key positions with quite a few companies. He has Bachelors’ Degree in Metallurgy from the Government College of Engineering of Pune, India and also holds an M.S in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick – one of the UK’s leading universities.

Talk about being passionate about work and the name Anant would be right there at the top. At the helm of the entire gamut of functions in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Health & Safety for KTFL group companies is the wise yet humble Anant. He is the one who makes sure the most important assets of the company are looked after – its employees.

Just like his name, his experience also seems vast and endless. While he has been a part of the Kalyani group only for the last 8 years, he has an overall experience of a whopping 40 years on the core initiatives of IR and HR – looks like someone has been working more than their age!

Having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, he has a solid 33 years of industrial work experience to his credit. Before joining industries, he started career in Indian Air Force. His association with the Kalyani group dates back to as early as 2008 where he joined and lead as the CFO for FAW Bharat Forge (Changchun, China) Co. Ltd. He was instrumental in converting loss making this Joint Venture into profit making growing company. He then undertook the reins of Kalyani Steels limited and Saarloha, India where he worked for 7+ years before being elevated to the responsibility of the Group CFO and Company Secretary at Kalyani Technoforge ltd. where he has been with us for the past 4 years.

Cast a glance at him and you will see a certain conviction in his piercing eyes that will make you put your trust in him. Before joining the Kalyani group in 2019, Anil had accumulated a vast and varied experience of 21+ years’ operating at various levels and positions in Vendor Development, Supplier Quality, China Sourcing and International Marketing & Strategy. He now looks after sales, marketing, branding, and digital marketing at Kalyani Additives and Bharat Forge’s Centre of Light Weighing Technology.

The favourite of the vendors and company both, Purchase heads have an important role to play in the success of the companies they work for. Certainly, when it comes to representing the company in the procurement market, Anant is the smiling and cheerful face of Kalyani Group.

Mr. Anant Pethkar is the Group Purchasing Head & Business Unit Head who forms the driving force behind all sourcing activities of the KTFL group companies. He is responsible for the entire supply chain right from the procurement of Raw Material, Capex, Opex, OutSourcing, Stores to EXIM & Logistics.

Being a Bachelor in Metallurgy passed out from College of Engineering, Pune he has a strong hand in metallurgy and material science. He has professional experience of around 16 years in which he has excelled in technology as well as business development. He is responsible for business development and sales in Kalyani Additives.

Operational excellence always serves the backbone of the organization’s growth. Also through operational excellence one can achieve the target of Zero defect.

Having vast experience and skill set in operations, he has built his career into operations having professional experience over 15 years. He pioneers the operational side of Kalyani Additives at BU4 and serves an important role in helping organization achieving zero defect strategy.
